News about Allybama...!!!!
Here is a detailed update that I just received from one of Ally's friends:
Ally's got ANOTHER girl!!!!!!
She was born on Valentine's Day, a not so big but still pretty cute 5 lbs 1 oz. She's called Gabrielle Serenity Sumner and she is ADORABLE!!!!! I think she looks like Linden.
I guess it's been a while since anyone updated you huh?
Ally ----> has been doing in-patient work for her anorexia and is still underweight, which is part of the reason Gaby came 3.5 weeks early. But she is doing fine, the stress test on her heart (Ally's) showed no abnormalities, so hopefully if she can kick the anorexia now she won't end up with any long term effects. She and Alex are still not together, Lindy lives with him and Ally currently has custody just of Gaby until she is done with her inpatient, and then she will be taking Kelsey back from Alex and she says she hopes to take Lindy back too, and possibly Thomas if he wants to come back this way, which it sounds like he does.
Kelsey ---> has regained most of her speech although she is very hard to understand now. Her paralysis has largely subsided although her legs are very weak and she can't really stand up for more than a few minutes at a time. She is completely done chemotherapy now, if five years from January she is still cancer free, they will call her cured. Her hair is growing back and she has what looks like an army buzz cut right now. As red as it has ever been. She is currently living with Ally's mom who doesn't work because she requires constant care at the moment.
Gaby ---> is precious as anything. She's not being breast fed because they say Ally can't afford to lose the calories to her, which has Ally just heartbroken because she totally believes in breast feeding, especially with Gaby being smaller than usual.
Umm I guess that's about it.
Anyway, that's about all the Ally news lately!

Wow - an adorable, little baby girl!
Glad to hear that both Mom & Baby are doing well. Prayers that Ally continues to do well with the treatment and progresses quickly.
Prayers too for little Kelsey for healing and happiness for the family.
