Default Night feedings...how often for how long?

Okay, we just passed the six month mark (yay, happy half birthday Caleb) and the little guy eats twice during the night if I'm lucky, and 3-4 times if I'm not. It's not that he wakes up and needs to be nursed back to sleep (he doesn't fall asleep nursing, I lay him down pretty awake for bed and he happily sucks his thumb until he's asleep) the little guy is just plain hungry. He usually eats as much during the night feedings as he does during the day time feedings. We're just starting solids with him, so he's not really eating a significant amount of anything yet other than breastmilk. I guess my question is, will I ever get to sleep! I do okay the nights he where he gets up twice, but any more than that really is starting to wear me out.
