Gotta love the Garden State! I have lived here all my life and absolutely love almost everything about it....BUT....there is always that!
We are one of the only states you have to pay to get out of...it's free to come in but to leave you're charged!

We now have a crazy point system to get your drivers licence, and us women need our birth certificates as well as our marriage license. I have gotten in trouble with my marriage license. That sounds like I got married on some island, no I got married in PA!! Just over the bridge and they get confused because it doesn't look like a NJ marriage license!

The reason for my NJ rant is that my hushand took one of the cars through inspection today. DH is very into cars, and he has a 1981 VW Rabbit. He loves this car, and it's in great condition for a 1981! He calls me while waiting for them to finish the inspection and he says the workers are confused about the gas cap (this is done to check emissions) and they had to pull books and and call a bunch of other people over to figure it out. I'm pretty sure my dh is not the only person in the area driving a older vehicle! The workers then figure that out and they end up putting a rejection sticker on it. Not for emissions but for the windshield wiper speed! They said they don't go fast enough! DH asked how he was suppose to correct this as it was a 1981 and things don't move as fast as a 2007. The worker didn't know just that it failed! DH just put in a new wiper motor not that long ago and that sped it up.

Sorry for the long vent...just needed to tell someone! I also think it is kind of funny that the car past for everything else but the wiper motor!
