No more doubles??????
We were in Evansville this weekend. DH pointed out the sign at Buehler's about doubles ending May 15 (or so). Bummer for you all!! Gosh, store chains in Indy just dropped the bumping the .55 to $1. Three chains at least still double to .50 (but have limits). There were intermediate steps Buehler's could take than abandoning doubles all together. Did they ever limit the # of like coupons? Considering the extremely PATHETIC coupons that Evansville gets, folks I'm sure need to save what they can. I'd think that doubles helped bring people in to the chain vs. just Walmart. With out the doubling, cpns are worth the same at Buehler's and Walmart, but Walmart is cheaper on most things.....that'll be some easy math if you have time for Wally World's crowds.
I love the bit on the sign about other 'exciting savings opportunities" coming. Yeah....I doubt that they will save more than doubles did for some....
