I think now is the time I need you all more than ever. I am just completely devastated right now. My mom got some bad news from the doctors. For the past few months, she has been coughing ALL the time. First she denied anything was wrong-saying it was allergies or mold. But I knew something else was wrong. After weeks of strong urging from me (and possibly just because she really did feel sick) she finally went to the doctor.
She got her test results back today, and they've found a "large mass" on one of her lungs. Her CAT scan is scheduled for Monday at 11am, and that will give us and the doctors a better idea of what we are dealing with. But the doctor does not sound very optimistic.
Please, please, PLEASE pray for my mom. Pray that it isn't anything serious, and if it is, that she has the strength to get through it. I am just so sad right now. There's no way I can convince myself its nothing bad, when I have a strong gut feeling that it is. But I'm hoping that, if only for one night, God answers my prayers. Thank you all and God bless...
Good to hear they are further investigating with a cat scan.
It may be nothing, could be pneumonia, scaring, fibrotic tissue.
It may be something that could be treated with antibiotics
or some surgery.
