My friend is getting married this June and has offered to have non-alcholic wine available for me for the toast. Is this considered safe during pregnancy??
My BF's OB/GYN said, actually suggested one to her. She is a wine drinker and was having a hard time with out it, and now she even has me liking this one kind. And I dont do wine!! They told her after the first Tri, one or two glasses a week would not hurt, but now she mixes it, about 1/4 real wine and 3/4 Fre wine.
I don't drink at all ,but I can comment on non alcoholic wine, as I have tasted loads of it ,before ordering a whole batch for a business function. I thought they were all disgusting but certainly better than alcohol if you are pregnant, which I cannot even contemplate, not even one or two!!
I got married when I was pregnant and had a sip of champagne... I must have asked the doctor a million times if it was okay, and he said that it was. A tiny bit every once and awhile is perfectly fine. Have fun at the wedding!
non-alcoholic wine safe??
She could also buy a couple bottles of Sprakling juice for you. Comes in a wine bottle but it's juice. I did this at new years when I was PG 
but certainly better than alcohol if you are pregnant, which I cannot even contemplate, not even one or two!!
