ok well dfs sister just for out shes pregnant and im not sure how i feel about this, to make it clear its NOT a jealousy issue. maria is out of work(has had at least EIGHT jobs in the past YEAR) the "father" is a short tempered a hole who beats her, does drugs and is a total mooch and doesnt want to work, and has knowingly made her soak in a hot bath after sex and has even made her take the morning after pill a few times and is now in jail for drugs and also trying to break our door in. maria is a lil slow and even though she has a degree in childcare aswell as worked in a daycare she is not someone u would pick to be alone with a child(at the daycare she only helped out she always was with 1 or 2 ppl), 1 time df took aiyana to see her and she wanted to change her diaper and im all for someone offering to do that lol.... she put the dang thing on BACKWARDS! ok im done i just had to get that off my chest. i mean in a way im happy for her its more her bf im worried about when he gets out of jail

Question is this: is she happy about the baby?

Is she eating properly and taking vitamins?
Will she have the baby?
Keep the baby?
Will she be able to care for herself and the baby?

I can certainly understand your concerns.

If she keeps the baby, will the family be supportive and help her?

she is happy and plans on keeping it. as for support im not sure, his mom has already said many times before that shes no way ready for a baby and they dont like the father(for obvious reasons). also while i was pregnant dfs parents continously told him the baby wasnt his and told him he should leave me. maria is going to the drs tomorow and getting her vitamins, she has gone through depression and hasnt eaten great lately but im hoping she will take care of herself now

sounds like the lil one maybe looking at a tough life. Hopefully this bub will help her right her life!

Maybe with your help she'll be fine. Sometimes people just need a little time to learn...and someone patient to be there for them. If she's never had a strong, smart role model, then no wonder she's a little clueless with kids. It's one thing to learn about them in schoolbooks, but quite something else to take care of them first hand!

I hope she drops the loser boyfriend. Maybe someone in the family will tell him the baby isn'this & he'll be dumb enough to believe it & leave her.
