Default Oct. 8, Oct. 15 free items (after rebate)

In the Rite Aid ad. beginning Oct. 8, these items are listed as free after SCR:

Oral-B tootbrushes- Stages, Cross-Action, Cross-Action Vitalizer, Advantage, Artica ($2.79 is the 'up to' rebate)

Lansinoh clean and condition cloths (unsure of the spelling, so copied from KMA) ($3.99 is the 'up to' rebate)

Similisan cataract care ($8 is the 'up to' rebate)

Celestial Seasonings tea ($1.99- she told me this price)
Kashi cereal ($1.99 sale price)

Not free, but someone may care- John Frieda hair care 3/$15 - $5 SCR

A manager was nice enough to tell me about this sale, but I did not ask the price of each item. The 'up to' amount is what I read in posts on several boards, including this one.

These items are advertised as free after SCR beginning Oct. 15:

Tylenol children liquid

Emergen-C Immune Defense 15 ct.

Ice Taps 12 ct.

NasoClear

SaltAire sinus cleanse

Suppress cough strips

Hyland's Sniffles & Sneezes for kids 125ct.

AYR sinus rinse

Alka Seltzer Plus liquid

I got these over the phone from a nice RA manager. Basically, she confirmed that all of the 'up to' rebate items for the first 2 weeks will sell for that price, and be free. The list of those items is on several boards, including this one.

don't forget to use oral B coupons to make a $1 profit.

BTW-- the electrasol/jet dry rebate is a good one, IMO. .99 is a great price after rebate...better if you have a coupon (I didn't unfortunately). FYI-- the rebate book says 2 rebate limit for this one. My Mom did get $4 credit for 2 jet drys....cool! I am trying 2 electrasols on my account. I always seem to be out of dishwasher detergent.

I am excited about the free Kashi. Love that stuff!

Remember to always, always get a raincheck of a rebate item is out of stock WHEN IT'S ON SALE. Even if you bought the item while on sale. As we've seen, certain items are featured month in and month out and are sometimes double dip items.

Ex. Last month I bought 1 Electrasol during sale week. But happened to get a raincheck because it was Limit 2 on RB, but I only bought 1 as I had just 1 coupon. With coupon, after rebate, my box was .24. Great deal I thought

Lo and behold, Electrasol was double dip at the end of the month. I still didn't have a coupon, but did have a raincheck for the sale price. I used it during double dip and ended up making $1 +/- a penny without coupons. If I had a coupon it would've been profit of around $1.75.

Point being, you never know when that raincheck will serve its purpose so just ask nicely for it.

Don't forget to use the Tylenol children's seasonal coupon (10/1V) to make a $1 profit on the Tylenol children liquid.

Also, on the Alka Seltzer cold bottles I purchased yesterday, there is a mail in rebate inside the label. So make a $3.99 profit on this deal. Get $3.99 back from riteaid and $3.99 back from Tylenol! That's a $3.99 profit.

This week was awesome at Riteaid! We are fully stocked for any cold that comes our way now!

There is also a $2 off any tylenol liquid coupon in the Rite Aid coupon sheet that came out Sunday, if your Rite Aid will let you combine with a Mfr, then you will make $3 profit. If not, $2 is better than $1!
