I'm looking for someone in So. Cal. to confirm or deny that Kmart is doing double coupons this week. I've read some areas are and want to know if So Cal is before I even think about going (it's 30 mins one way).

I made a few phone calls. Riverside said NO,but I think they really do not know. Redlands said yes, they are participating!

Starrlight, I would phone your store and then, remember it IS Kmart, after all, and most of the employees are clueless.

Yeah I phoned - 2 days in a row to talk to 2 different people. I called first on Monday - she said no. Called again yesterday, he said if I had the flyer (I don't) they would honor it. I'm going to try again today.
That's why I was hoping someone may have actually seen a flyer in the store since the employees didn't seem to know. Thanks though, like I said I'll call again today and if not I'll try them in the morning.

I got completely diff info this morning when I called the local Kmarts and then I got the flyer in the mail today in Riverside county in CA. So I phoned again and spoke with Redlands, and two of the Riverside Kmarts in southern CA and they ARE doubling coupons. No one knows how it will work, ie if $2.00 will double or just up to $2.00 max. Oh brother! Even a manager was pretty much clueless, but what else is new? Kmart is known for this.
I think I will give it a try and report back tomorrow.

I called the 800# today and he was able to give me a list of So. Cal. stores (finally) that are participating - none near me. I think the closest is an hour away Oh well maybe next time.

Ok so I did end up calling my store again and telling them about the flyer and they said if I had it they'd honor it So with flyer in hand I headed there today. I got the following items for just under $40 (including 12.63 tax) :
Dove Energy Glow lotion
Revlon Nail Enamel
Revlon Eyeliner
2 Revlon Eye Shadow
Oxy soap
Kotex pads (these actually rang up $5 instead of 2/5.00)
2 Secret deodorants
4 ct Custom + razors
2 Visine ac
4 Dove hair care
4 Sunsilk hair care
4 Tums Smoothies
2 halter tops on clearance
2 shirts for DD (not on clearance)
3 bags Healthful Life cat food
6 packs dog treats

3 2-pks 2000 Flushes
All S&M
Glade scented oil warmer

I went three times and did pretty good. The first trip was my best.
I paid 1.66 for the amt pictured! I was VERY happy.
