Old Wives tale? Or true?
So, Kenzie is not a fan of MOST green veggies. She'll eat some green veggies off our plates or if it is not the main ingredient in her Earth's Best baby food... So, with that said, she eats a ton of carrots, squash, and sweet potatoes!
My friend said that she heard this can make their skin appear orange? Sounds pretty silly to me...But is it true? We're def NOT sporting orange skin here- yet! !

definately true but not really a problem... Gabby eats mostly orange veggies too, it'll be hard for me to really tell if she is turning orange as her skin has that yellowish tone anyway
Orange skin coloring can result from various disorders. One common cause is overeating of dietary items that contain orange-colored beta-carotene (e.g. pumpkins, carrots) and this often causes orange skin from carotenemia in young infants newly introduced to solids

My supervisor at work has the same problem, when she eats too many carrots, sweet potatoes, etc, her hands turn orange.

Really? Wow I never seen that.
My dd ate tons of squash, carrots, etc and never turned orange. Although its a sure bet I'd have flipped out if she did!
Hey, I learn something new everyday...

:lol Thanks! Hmm. Yep, we eat something orange at least once a day- she'll spit back the green veggies as soon as they touch her mouth! Guess we'll just have to watch and wait! She has other stuff, not JUST carrots(but they are by far her favorite veggie)
I keep trying to offer green stuff- and she keeps insisting she's not a fan! ! Hopefully a phase! It is odd because she used to totally LOVE peas and green beans when we 1st started solids!
Glad to know it doesn't last forever! hahah!
