Omg Cvs Employees Make Me So Mad
I went to return the Aquify and Clear Care that I had bought on Monday(wrong size).
Besides of all my coupons that I had used I also used 4 ECB'S 10,8,5,5 for a total of 28.00 in ECB'S.
Well the Manager does the return and hands me 6.xx WHAT
I paid 6.99,6.99,4.99,4.99 for a total of 23.96 not counting tax.
I said what is this then he proceeds to tell me that since on my receipt I only paid 6.xx oop that was all he could give me back.I then told him no that was not right that I used 28.00 in ECB which is suppose to be just like CASH and I sould get the wholeamount back.
Well to make an even longer story short I had to drive 20 minutes out of my way to another CVS to return them and they gave me a giftcard.
I could not believe he thought I would really take just the 6.xx for 25.xx worth of items.
These people make me so mad..

If something like that happens again, you should call CVS customer service on your cell phone IN FRONT of the manager! They'll set him straight!
sucks that it happened, though!
And if you don't have a cell phone, ask to use their phone and then ask for the Corporate number, they manager will "get the message."

I think we should have a sticky for this forum called "Those stupid employees"!!  Tonight, I had a bad experience with the MANAGER. First, I went to checkout with about 7 minutes before closing, and I got the nice cashier, she likes seeing my deals. I had forgotten my card, and so we were trying to pull up the card number so my ECB's would print. She ended up pulling up my old card (which I never used and ended up losing, so when I move I got a new one), and so the ECBs didn't print with my $1 transaction. So she called up the manager, who was rude to me, "talked sternly to" the employee for not locking the doors, and tried to tell the other customers that they would have to leave. OMWord!!! She didn't offer to open another register, she just stood there watching the cashier. We finally got my card to come up, and then the manager said I would have to hurry, and that I shouldn't wait until 10pm to "use all those coupons". I looked directly at her and said, "I got here in plenty of time, would you like me to take my business elsewhere?" She just frowned and told the cashier to hurry up "because coupons take too long". She again told the other customers to leave, but they just looked at her like she's crazy.  Anyway, the cashier was nice, and the manager was a real poo. I had left my cell phone in the car, but CS will hear from me tomorrow!!! Thanks for reading.

this is unbelievable (that such things happen every once in a while) and makes it a absolute hilarious reading! (sorry, i know the situation itself may not have been that funny). I think one thing that is important to understand is that such managers dont own CVS and for all you know, they could be working (or not working at all!) in a different position next time you go shopping at cvs. I know it is a pain that you come across such managers every once in a while and takes lot of tolerance sometimes to put up with it and keep your cool and follow up with a phone call to corporate. I agree that calling corporate then and there would carry lot more message.

Okay, let me start by saying I work for CVS & I use the EB's, man. & CRT's! I really don't think you should stereotype CVS employees in this way. My manager is the best & he goes by the corporate policy that the customer is always right. You ARE exactly right in saying that you should have gotten the whole amount back b/c the coupons are like cash. Also, if you still had your receipt when you went to the other store they should have given you cash back instead of a moneycard. Unless you use the EB program you really don't know too much about the whole concept & I'm sure this manager didn't know. I'm sorry this happened to you. When you call corporate they get in touch with managers ASAP & then the manager knows how to handle the situation better next time. Again, I'm sorry!

Thanks to all of you who have replied I will make sure if this ever happens again or any thing to do with my coupons comes up I will call CVS CS in the store.
