OMG! Man slaps strangers crying kit at Walmart
"The mother of the 2-year-old child told police that both were walking in the aisles of the Rockbridge Road store when Roger Stephens, 61, approached and said “if you don’t shut that baby up, I will shut her up for you,” according to a police report. A few moments later, in another aisle, Stephens grabbed the 2-year-old and slapped her across the face four or five times, according to the report."

I had a very large man yell at my daughter when she was 10 in a Supermarket. I lost my mind and called the man every thing I could think of.... at the top of my lungs. Then I almost fought the manager for telling me to stop yelling. If someone had hit her, one or both of us would have left in an ambulance.

That is unreal! I can't imagine anyone laying a hand on my son. What gives that man the right to do something like that!
I'm glad the police were called and it's being taken seriously!

This guy looks scary. I hope they lock him up and throw away the key. He shouldn't be allowed to be around children. He's almost as bad as a sex perv. Same idea - no one is safe around him.

If this guy - or anyone for that matter - did that to one of my children it would be HIM that would need medical attention! Either that or I would get a big fat paycheck from him.
UGH - the nerve of some people! My kids have acted out in the store before, but thankfully no one has ever approached me about it. Obviously this guy has never had kids of his own.

I had a man tell me I was ruining everyone's lunch because my 2 month old baby was crying....I just smiled and said ok. My mom got up and followed the guy out and yelled at him about how I laid in bed for months to have that baby and what a wonderful mom I am and how my baby just happens to prefer her crib and not her carseat and I was doing all I could to calm her. She went on and gave him way too much info about me and my history with pregnancy and babies....and the man told her she didn't know how to raise kids and she had no business giving birth to me and continued to curse at my mom while his wife pulled him out of the resturant. I didn't hear any of this and had no idea that was why my mom got up...If I had known I probably would have hit him for talking like that to my mom. I am used to people not tolerating kids, I don't get it but it happens a lot to me. I don't stay at home cause my toddler throws fits...I just deal with the fits. I can't sit home all day someone has to shop! lol
If anyone laid a finger on my kids though I would hurt them or at least try.
