One of the scariest moments of my life!
Today was a really nice day, so I told the boys they could go out back to play. I was doing the dishes, but if I looked directly to my left, I could see out back, so they went out by themselves. Every few minutes they would be in for various reasons, but they would both come in together. I swear, they are attached at the hip! Well, Vinnie came in by himself and asked for a drink, and I asked where CeJay was, and he said "Oh, still playing" and as he was saying that I looked outside and didn't see him, just as I was about to go closer to the window to get a better look, CeJay started SCREAMING, "Mommy! Help me! Mommy!". I went into full blown panic mode and ran out back in my socks. Gone. So I ran around to the front of the house. Not there. I was in tears. He was still screaming for me. Then, I noticed him on the other side of the house. Stuck in a bush. I was SO scared. I thought someone took him. By the time I got him out I was crying so hard. I have never been that scared. Turns out, he went looking for Vinnie, saw a trash bag stuck in a bush, went to run because he thought it was a monster, and got himself caught in the bush. My heart is still beating a million miles a minute...
