when my hair was super curly (it's so damaged now, i have to pray for 3 weeks to get a curl to hold!), i LOVED putting it half up, half down or in a messy bun. they're really quick & simple. at work or school, i'd take a pen & twist my hair up. oh i'd kill to have my curls back! (DH would too).

hope your week gets better, maybe try to escape with a mini-spa day. even if it's just a bubble bath & mask while doing your toes in your bathroom - a little bit goes a long way.
