I have a son who loves cookies and doesn't really like ice cream. We went to Baskin Robbins the other night and had him try Oreo ice cream, good ol cookies and cream style..he really liked it. So if you have a pick eater who, for some strange reason, doesn't like ice cream...trying mixing in a brownie or cookie.

A fun option along these lines is places like coldstone creamery. they allow you to pick your ice cream and pick your toppins and they mix it in. It can be fun for kids to watch their cookies and cream being created in front of their eyes, its also pretty tasty.

Why does it matter if kids don't like ice cream? I'd have thought that was a positive thing

Seriously. I agree. having one sweet your child doesnt enjoy would seem like a bonus rather than a problem taht needs to be fixed. Broccoli however, tahts an entirely different issue.

I agree, most ice cream doesn't even have milk products in them anymore. Often you'll find it made of primarily soy. I think jello is healthier even. It at least has some protein.

Really? Im lactose intolerant. i thought most ice cream was still milk, except that tofuti stuff which is kind of gross.
