Has anyone heard/tried Maca Root powder.

I have been doing a lot of research on this and appartently it increases sex drive, balances out hormones and increases sperm count so its both beneficial to both male and female.
I have also read that women have become pregnant within 2 months of taking 1 table sp in juice every morning throughout your cycle and because its a natural vegetable root (potatoe family) it can be taken throughout your pregancy to lessen chance of a miscarraige.
Women in the Andes in Peru use it for this reason because living at high altitude affects fertility and sustaining a pregnancy. Just wondring if anyone has heard of this or tried it?
