Anyone surprised by the nominations? Apparently Terrance Howard being nominated for Hustle & Flow was surprise to many, but he's been so prominent at all the award ceremonies and I've heard such rave reviews about his performance not only in that but Crash as well, I wasn't really that surprised. I was a little surprised that Walk the Line didn't make the best picture cut, but glad to see Crash in there.

Also good to see Matt Dillon get a nomination for Crash. I think he has matured into quite a good actor.
