It's the best Piggly Wiggly i've ever visited. I went today and it as nice or nicer than the Winn-Dixie it replaced. Quite a bit upscale for a local Piggly Wiggly. They did a bit of construction and space reconfiguration from the old Winn-Dixie space and it does look better inside. Unlike the older Piggies in the area, the new ones are actually full service grocery stores. The two that moved into former Winn-Dixie's are much larger than the older stores. I guess that gives them room for a full service bakery and deli section, floral department, expanded freezer space, etc.. The old stores are kind of dirty and smelly. Our new store is nice and clean. Greatly expanded selection of everything over the old stores. The only indication really that it's a Piggly Wiggly is the area they all seem to have with the dollar store-like stuff, like candles, figurines, picture frames, etc... But, that's all neatly on one aisle here, instead of a junky looking section. I don't think i'm ever going back to the old store I used to have to visit to get their weekly sale items.
