Anyone ever see these or use these?? http://bbftoys.com/ It would make it easier to find the pacifier...but seems a little strange to me

I think they are cute and it seems like a good idea. But I'm not sure how safe it would be to use while sleeping, a younger infant may suffocate. I think they would be great for the car and when out and about.

they work wonders!! they also make them for bottles. My neice was a premie and they actually gave her her first one in the nicu she is too and gets a water bottle for bed time and it goes into the stuffed animal. When she was in the nicu they allowed her to have breastmilk in a little bottle and it was in the stuffed animal. I wanted them for jaxon just for the car since it would a toy and his bottle all in one but could never find them

If you use dummies it may be an easier way of removing the dummy as you can replace it with a normal stuffed toy so there is something familiar still there.

My kids were in the NICU as well and they didn't use them for my children but the company that made their paci's did. I researched the company to see if I could order some of the paci's because they loved them so much. I guess it seems like an okay idea, but my kids don't even use paci's anymore so I wouldn't have a need for them. I kind of let them get used to only having it at nap time and bed time then slowly started taking it away from them, they don't get stuffed animals either. I guess I just don't want my kids too attached to things like that so they don't throw a fit over it.

I am with Ruthann, I would be concerned about the suffocation hazard if the baby had it in the crib. All of my babies were binky babies, and I really never had too much trouble keeping track of the binks, so I guess the brilliance of the whole concept is just lost on me, ! Then again, all of my babies slept with me and DH, so if the baby lost the binky, it was usually under me, .

One of my foster babies was a premie and had a really hard time keeping a pacifier in his mouth. The one he had I believe was called Wubba (or something like that) and it was great because even when he lost the strength of his suck for a few moments, the pacifier would stay in place instead of falling down. This actually helped to strengthen his suck over time - helping him to be a better feeder.

We have a Wub a nub and it's small and light weight. It seems to work really well so far for my 2 moth old.
