I might buy a padded bra to burn...that's about it,

. It is insane what kids are wearing today. We are a Brat-free home, and I'm not overly thrilled with most of Barbie's wardrobe. I've talked to my older kids (6 and 4.5) about dressing modestly (which for us includes covered stomachs and sleeves), and now when we're out in public, it's um great (yeah, great's the word) when they point to someone in a tank top and say, Mom, they're not dressed modestly. Oh, yeah, it's so much fun when they yell it out. Or say it directly to the person.

We are probably way far conservative, in that we decided that even our baby clothes would have sleeves. I know my MIL thought so. But I didn't want to have to say, okay, now at this point we are changing the way you dress. I honestly think the way you dress your kids when they are young will reflect how they dress as they get older. I always wonder if the 6-8 yos are dressed provocatively, what in the world will they be wearing at 16-18? I shudder to think about it.
