Question Pain???????????

Okay so I have another question.
I have done a lot of walking today.. and I noticed that I feel like I am cramping on one side. I don't have an ectopic pregnancy, I am 16 weeks pregnant...and have had an uncomplicated pregnancy so far. I do not have any kind of bleeding so I am not tooooo worried about it. It doesn't feel like the ligament pain I get when I, say, sneeze or move wrong or whatever. It feels kiiiiinda like ovulation pains... I notice that the muscle in my right buttock is really tight like with a muscle spasm. Is it just a back spasm that is radiating through the side? It kinda feels like a side stitch. Has anyone else felt this way? I have a doc appt. on the 13th.. I am a little worried b/c of my hospitalization and the fact they didn't check on my butterbean... but since I have no bleeding I don't want to go to the E.R. since I was JUST there. Anyone else felt this way??? I am almost positive it's a back spasm but can that radiate through to the side???

I think its just a spasm from walking for so long. Im not a doctor tho so it could be somthing wrong too... Maybe just have a bit of a rest, have a warm bath, ask someone to give a little massage on the sore and if nothing works then maybe call the hospital instead of going there and ask them!

Hope everything is okay! Give us updates!

it could be from the walking like Dani says, could be that bubs is sitting on a nerve or maybe a combination of both

I've been getting that a lot! Its kinda a crampy feeling...but mine goes from one side to the other and sometimes it makes my butt hurt too !! It might be a pinched nerve or it could be early BH???? I'm not sure but I am going to ask my Dr. at my appt. on tues!

The pain in your butt sounds like siactic (sp?) nerve pain, which is totally normal and the pain in the side seems like it could just be growing pains. I have them too and at this point we are really starting to stretch a lot in there. It can't hurt to ask the doc, though.

thanks for the advice ladies! at the time I didn't even think that it could be the sciatic nerve but I drank some juice, took a warm bath and went to bed and I feel fine now. It's weird to think that just a couple weeks ago the pregnancy was kind of abstract and not real feeling, but now the baby is big enough to affect lots of stuff. I kinda keep forgetting that so I always think oh no, i'm not m/c am i?? . but i feel fine. thanks for the advice!!!
haha, and my doc's appt. is also on Tue!!! Good Luck!
