Default Pain in the neck

About 2 weeks ago I was at my dads house, and my kids left the door open and my dads kitten got out and climbed a tree. It took me over 2 hours, but I got her down, but had a sore neck because of it. Now, 2 weeks later, and I STILL have a sore neck, only now it's worse. I can barely turn my head to the left and when I do, I get shooting pains. Should I be concerned about this? It's driving me crazy!

I get that sometimes...It might be something out of place and pinching a nerve or a really badly pulled muscle. If you have insurance I'd go ahead and talk to your doctor because you shouldn't have to be in pain...and they might want to look at it to make sure it's nothing else. I hope you feel better soon!
