I want to paint Katelyn's room. Right now her walls are just plain white. Here's a pic of her bed I put little flowers that are removeable on her bed and walls

I'm really not sure what to do. I want to put a mural on her wall but can't afford what I had in mind...I want to paint it even if I do end up getting that...I'm just not sure what color to go with. I want a light color because when we move out I will have to paint white over it.
if you want to eventually do the mural, maybe you should do a light green (like the grass) or light blue (to make the sky)
Light purple is always a great way to go as well! even a yellow to match the yellow in her bedding would be nice. I guess im not being much help, but they are all such pretty colors

I thought about maybe strips...but if I do get the mural (maybe for her birthday) then....strips probably wouldn't be the way to go. I'm getting glow in the dark paint to make dots on her ceiling for stars
So I moved her room around...it made a huge difference and took down that rail that's been buggin me....some of the letters I put up fell down......probably cause I used tape so I need a better solution for that
hey room is so pretty!!! Has she slept in the bed w/o the rail yet? Jaecy manages to fall out of bed WITH the rail up, so Im afraid to take it down yet...her bed is high so its a long fall But its so ugly (and teal so it doesnt match the room AT ALL!)
you want Katelyn's? We can switch....I took it down yesterday and she watched and I let her spend extra time playing in there to give her practice getting on and off and just used to the idea. She LOVES it without the rail. She slept in it last night and didn't fall out. She came close once but must have felt it in her sleep cause she scootched back over. I'm so proud of her handling it so well.
