Can one of you brilliant PSP users help me please?

I have PSP X for my business, mainly to crop & fix my website photos and add my company name to the face of them. Well, a setting in my font is messed up and the text is coming up not filled in and I need it solid (does that make any sense).

I spent WAY too much time yesterday trying to figure out how to fix it and wound up with a big ole headache. The "help" was no help to me at all. Please, please, please....if anyone knows how to fix this I would be so greatful.
