Question Pancakes or Biscuits Recipes

Hi! I'm making bacon and eggs for dinner tonight and I was thinking of either doing biscuits or pancakes to go along with it. Does anyone have any good homemade biscuit or pancake recipes? I normally make my biscuits and pancakes with Bisquick but I'm out and don't want to run to the store.
Thanks in Advance!

While I realize that you probably already had your dinner (seeing as it's 3 days later) I still thought I'd share a great biscuit recipe that I have. I have NO idea where this came from - but they are really good.

1 Cup Self Rising Flour
1/2 Cup Buttermilk (you can subsitute milk)
Dash of Salt
Pinch of Baking Soda
Water: To consistancy.

Mix all dry ingredients together. Then, add the buttermilk (or milk) and stir until well mixed. Add water to consistancy. (Your mix should not be too thick or biscuits will not rise, nor should they be too thin or they will not cook!)
Roll out dough on cutting board. Flatten biscuit dough until no thicker than one inch. Cut out biscuits with biscuit cutter. (I do not own a biscuit cutter - I just use a glass dipped in flour)
Place biscuits on ungreased cooking sheet. Place a small drop of butter on top of each biscuit.
Cook at 350 degrees for twenty minutes or until golden brown.

Perfect Pancake Mix
4 eggs
1 qt. milk
2 C. flour
2 T. melted butter
1 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
Mix all dry ingredients. Slowly mix in all liquid ingredients while stirring. Let the mix sit for about 5-10 minutes before using for smoother pancakes.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the info! And yes the day has already passed, but I'm glad to have the recipes anyway. I typically use Bisquick (like I mentioned before) but when I've run out before other recipes I've tried just don't cut it.

Smile make your own bisquick mix

Check out this article to make your own bisquick mix. I never buy it anymore, it's easy enough to make.

Unless these are crepes or Russian pancakes, would you correct that?
