Default Parent's Anniversary

What should I get them as a joint present? I want to spend around $300-$600(They deserve something nice). But I have no idea what to get them! Any ideas? (Their anniversary in April 14th)

We need a new roof and fence(but that will cost in the $1000's so I can't really help with that). I was thinking about getting new furniture for the living room(what we have is old and doesn't match and the corners of the coffee table are chewed up courtesy of my puppy) My parents haven't mentioned wanting anything so I don't really know.

My dad can't afford to take time off of work and my mom just got a new job so she won't be able to take off either...so a vacation won't really work. Although my dad usually pays for them a hotel somewhere(thats usually his gift to my mom)

I redid my parents' wedding album for their anniversary. I snuck it out of their house and bought a new book to put all their pictures in. They were fading and the plastic they were stuck in was starting to eat the pictures.
We also took them out to eat at a VERY nice restaurant and that's where I gave them their new album. They were very surprised and very happy with it. Dinner was about $150-200 and the photo album ended up costing about $35 to remake. But I scrapbook a lot.
Could be a thought.

You could also make duplicates of their photos and make a scrapbook. That's a lovely idea and from the heart too.

How about tickets to a play or musical they would enjoy,
along with GC to their fav restaurant?

Dinner is a good idea too.

the scrapbook is a good idea! furniture is expensive, our couch was $650 and we only paid cost value since DH worked for a furniture store at the time. the matching chair was $400-500. maybe set up some sort of date night for them?
