Has anyone with PCOS found that as you get older the PCOS seems to get worse in the past 4 months I have only had 2 AF one about every 60 days I am so disheartened we have chosen to wait for a bit to invest in IVF thanks to the great economy, but I honestly feel like my body is falling apart. any suggestions as to what I can do in the mean time I am currently on 1500mg of metformin a day and prenatals other than that HELP PLEASE I am so ready to be pg I don't know why we can't get there, I would like to get pg on our own

Yep as we age PCOS gets worse. I've noticed that my acne is getting worse as the years go by and I've tried everything. Maybe you could get bumped up to 2000mg of Met or talk to your Dr. about Actos. I am so sorry you are going through this Erin. I really wish they could find a cure for PCOS. I swear that if I ever win the lottery I'm going to invest in a lab to find a cure.

I wish you the best of luck. Have you tried going outside of you state to do IVF? Some states are cheaper then others.

I'm on 2000mg of Met, and am starting a monitored clomid cycle. This will be our second round of clomid, and I think we are going one more round before giving it a go with a trigger.

I haven't been around in awhile....have you been on clomid before?
