Default It is normal

Hi, I am a personal trainer and I know exactly what you are talking about. Not only do I hear it from many clients but I have done it to myself. The soreness you feel is from using muscle, tissues and joints that have not been used in that way either before or in a long time. Lactid acid could be a cause as well. I have been exercing for years and anytime I change my routine the least bit I experience muscle soreness. You can expect 27-72 hours post workout. Just stick with your routine and in time that soreness will go away. In the run it will be a good thing. I know right now it feels awful. You may want to drink extra water and get more protein in your diet. Do some extra stretching and always warm up and cool down. Hang in there it will get better.
