Default Perspective on Obama ?

Aside from his "connections" Ayers, Acorn, Dohrn, Rezco, Davis, Odinga,Rev. Wright, Breaking Illinois Ethic Laws, Citizenship in question. Drug Use, Inexperience.

He is in support of Abortion.

He supports ending life for the elderly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3wSL...eature=related

And stated this..

I opposed the Defense of Marriage Act in 1996. It should be repealed and I will vote for its repeal on the Senate floor. I will also oppose any proposal to amend the U.S. Constitution to ban gays and lesbians from marrying. Barack Obama

I am wondering how anyone with basic a basic religious belief can vote for obama.

He has only been in the senate a short time and is very socialist in nature..

represents the transitional stage between capitalism and communism

Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating social or collective ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods, and the creation of an egalitarian society where labor is the main source of wealth. Modern socialism originated in the late nineteenth-century working class political movement. Karl Marx posited that socialism would be achieved via class struggle and a proletarian revolution which represents the transitional stage between capitalism and communism.
So I don't believe he is a good choice..

Your links are pointing to a group of videos. Please amend to point to a specific one for each example.

Also, among the videos in the group, there is a preview for a new horror movie which is inappropriate for this site.

I am wondering how anyone with a basic belief in Jesus could vote for a candidate who is in favor of handing more money to wealthy corporations, voted against increased funding for health care for low income children and plans to continue waging war. Jesus said to care for others and not to judge.

The abortion issue is important to all Christians, but what has Bush or McCain done to end Roe v. Wade? Nothing. They just trot it out every four years to dupe good Christians into voting for them, nothing changes and they have no real political will to change it, but hey, it "gets out the base." Meanwhile, their economic, tax and social policies are the absolute antithesis of what Jesus preached when he was on Earth. I do read my Bible and it seems to me the Democrats do a far better job of caring for God's people!

I just wanted to add that Obama is not a socialist, but I think Jesus was!

I really don't think you can categorize Jesus in a current socio/political group or ideology. However, I came across the following perspective on the election, and those in both parties who think God is on their side:

I completely agree. He isn't part of either party. I was just responding to the ridiculous notion that is going through this country that if you are a Christian, you must vote Republican. It's absurd for several of the reasons cited in that blog and more. This is a myth that must die!

It really bothers me that people think you have to be a specific party to be Christian....or even a good person.

How in the heck is citizenship in question? He was born in the USA, no?

That made me laugh!

But anyway where I work there are a lot of Republicans and a lot of my friends are Republicans and most assumed I was Republican. How dare I vote for someone for abortion. But in my opinion we need to stop taking sides and look at their ideas for policies and pick which one we feel is best. Of course there is a lot of other things to take in to consideration too but why are we either Democrat OR Republican? You are never going to find a candidate that you agree 100% with. I also hate politics!!!!!

The comment was in response to the absurd idea that a person with a belief in God means they have to vote Republican. I think a lot of people weigh their spiritual beliefs in their decision on a party or candidate, although I personally am in favor of a clear division between church and state. I was just articulating my opposing view in terms of policies and how I interpret the core message. I was insulted by the op's comment and suspect he is a McCain volunteer or campaign worker.
