Default Pet First Aid

My step mother has been going to a class put on by the red cross to learn how to do first aid for pets. have any of you taken a class like this? it seems weird to me,but when you think about it, if you have a lot of pets its pretty pratical.

Default Pet First Aid

Pet first aid classes are very practical, as you said. I have actually taken both the red cross' classes and pet tech. red cross has volunteers teach their classes - i have heard from people having great experiences, or having a teacher that didnt quite understand the
material. my experience was somewhere in between. pet tech(PT) classes are about 8 hours in lenght, red cross was about 4. PT covered a lot of material including dental health, senior pets, etc. i feel very prepared after taking pet tech. you can find PT instructors online at their website (www.PetTech.net)
for anyone in virginia, wagn enterprises offers the class, as well as other pet first aid gear, preparedness workshops, etc. their website is www.wagn4u.com/pettech.
