I think it is great that we can share all of the great games that made us who we are. I remember my favorite game as a kid was "jump the river". You would get two rope, sticks, or objects and then spread them just a few feet apart. Then you would run and jump over them. Each time you completed the jump without falling in the middle the "river" got bigger. This game is great with a lot of kids!

By the way my friend just told me that she is publishing her first book on families playing together. Her book is called "Play Together Stay Together: Games that Fortify Families". My friend is a licensed Recreational Therapist and I am excited to see all of the great game suggestions and how they are beneficial for my family.
