Default Please Help Me!!!

my son is 2 1/2....on his second birthday we got him a potty chair of his own to start tryin to potty train...he wouldnt sit on it at all or anything...so i read online that they might not be ready...well heres my issue...my son will take a poop and then play in it...yesterday he did it and this morning he did it...he will actually take the diaper off and take the poop and smear it all over everything and play in it...i dont know what to do i am at my witts end with this...does anyone have any advice on what to do or why hes doing this?

we haven't conquered this one, but what about going back to onesies? that way he can't pull the diaper off

My daughter (who is now 5) did the same thing! she would smear it on the walls uck it was so gross. we finally started putting sleepers on her at night backwards so the zipper was on her back and she couldnt get them off. (and you can twist the legs so the feet are still in the right way) the ones with the snap on the top of the zipper seemed to work the best cus we could leave it zipped to just below that so that they were not snug on her neck, i think we also bought a size up to help with the comfort of them. hth and good luck!
