Poop time
So we have been training Mia Camille for 4 days now and she's doing wonderful when it comes to peeing, no accidents in the last 2 days it's perfect, BUT she doesn't want to poop in the toilet, last night i put a diaper on because it had been 2 days that she hadn't gone and she rarely goes that long... Now today she still hasn't done anything and doesn't want to poop on the toilet either, did i make a mistake in putting a diaper on last night? what would you do?

I think I've read somewhere from divasmom...that if you give her a nice warm bath it should help if she has to go....although.......I don't know what to do about her not wanting to on the potty. Hopefully someone else has lots of good ideas for you! Good Luck!!!

I know that my girls would not poop on a little potty, once they saw what they 'put' in there, they didn't want to make deposits anymore I think it scared them more than anything.
We then used one of the seat inserts for the big potty and then they were more comfortable going on there. That seemed to help us out.

I just posted about poop too!
Jae was always a constipated kid....since birth...she would go 3-7 days w/o going.
Once we potty trained, she would go 7+ days
this is going to sound gross but it worked:
Tell her the potty gets thirsty and hungry....pee-thirsty poop-hungry
gross I know but it worked so well...I always knew when she had to go because she would be grabbing and itching back there a lot and her little belly would bulge out like she had baby fat again. Now she is on miralax to help because she STILL holds it in....working on it tho! Good luck and congrats on how well she has been doing!

Vinnie just starting using the potty about a month ago... he WOULD NOT poop. He would wait until we put the diaper on at night and go. Then, his cousin ((who is a year older)) came over and did it, and that day, he did it too. Maybe she just needs to know that older "cooler" kids do it too?

One of my kids wouldn't poop on the big potty unless he had a footstool to rest his feet on. I think he just needed the footstool there to brace himself because he needed to push . He went for several days without going and then I was cleaning out from under the bathroom sink and I had this rubbermaid tote under there with a lid on it and I sat it in front of the potty while he was sitting on it. It was the perfect height for him to rest his feet on and he started pooping! So I went and got him a little footstool to use until he grew tall enough to rest his feet on the floor.
