Positive Parenting, the expert educational programme of the Malaysian Paediatric Association, will be organising a series of seminars dedicated to exploring common child nutrition-related health and feeding issues. Themed “Eat Right, Grow Healthy”, the fourth seminar in Johor Bahru will be held from 1.30pm – 5.00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Mutiara Hotel (Sri Banang), Johor Bahru. Children’s nutrition is one of the fundamental areas of concern among parents. The Positive Parenting Nutrition Seminar will be addressing common parental concerns in this area by presenting a series of talks by a panel of highly experienced experts from the fields of diet & nutrition and psychology. The topics, which will assist parents in optimising their children’s growth, health and well-being, will highlight the importance of early nutrition for the growing child, health implications of nutrition and offer parenting tips for handling picky eating and other feeding problems.



The seminar is one of the core activities under Positive Parenting Child Nutrition, a specialised sub-programme that involves the collaboration of Nutrition Society of Malaysia. Positive Parenting Nutrition is supported by an educational grant from Abbott Nutrition International.
