Possible way to make $20 at CVS w/Contour coupon?
I received a coupon mailer from CVS about a couple of weeks ago, which included a coupon for $70 off on the Ascensia Contour Glucose Meter. From looking at Taylortownpreview.com it looks like there is a $30 off coupon for Contour coming out in this weeks paper. If we can combine the manufacturer coupon along with the CVS coupon, then we can get $100 off on a $80 monitor. Anyone else planning on trying this? There is a particular store where they never give me any trouble with my coupons so I would definitely do it there.

It looks like this coupon is also in the "Heartbeat" coupon book for those of you who didn't get the mailing.

Considering all of those coupons need manager approval, it's a pretty brazen attempt at overage. How are your stores with coupons?

Yeah that's true, I forgot about the manager approval. I do have one store though that is really, really good about accepting my coupons. If nothing else, I will just get the monitor for free and be able to use my $4 off $20 so it is worth a try.

The monitor is $30, and it also indicates that no discounts apply.

so when it says no discounts apply, does that mean you can use no other coupons on it? that is the FINAL price?

The mfg coupons in yesterday's paper <beep> and require manager's override. I had four coupons and stopped at two CVS's. Both managers were on duty, aware of the sale price and coupon and had no problem whatsover typing the $30.00 coupon in manually. Ended up with (4) glucose monitors and (4) boxes of Keebler Soft Batch cookies - a logical combination, ya think? - for $2.90 oop.

So, what would you do with all of these glucose monitors? I know I wouldn't need one for myself. So, what do you do with it?
