Default post-coital bleeding

Please someone give me some good news.

I use Natural Family Planning which involves charting my basal body temp, mucus sign, and cervical sign. I say that to say that I'm pretty aware of my body, and I'm not on hormonal birth control (been off for 3-4 years). Yesterday was day 6 of my cycle, and I finished my menstrual cycle on day 5 (absolutely no bleeding on day 6). My cervix was hard and slightly open last night when I checked it. No cervical mucus present yesterday.

Last night we had intercourse. I didn't notice anything unusual during or immediately afterward. This morning, however, I was bleeding. And not the brown spotting you get at the end of your period. This is pinkish, red-tinged mucusy stuff.

I tried to get into the student health center, but they can't see me until Monday. I have classes all day M-W, so the earliest I could go in would be next Thursday. I don't have insurance so I don't want to go to my regular OBGYN due to the cost. I've googled possible causes, and the things that come up are pretty scary for the most part - STDs, cervical dysplasia, cervical or uterine fibroids, etc.

We had intercourse last week before my new cycle began with no problems. So I'm wondering if this has something to do with where I am in my cycle? Maybe my cervical or uterine lining is thin because of my period or something?

I've never experienced this before. Anyone have any ideas?
