Here is one that I got. I had fun with this one....

Mr Viktor Wiebe <wiebe_victor1@yahoo.com> wrote:

Good Day!
I am Mr. Viktor Wiebe, former banking manager with WETHERBYS BANK LIMITED .

We have an immediate business proposal that involves the sum of
US$4,000,000.00 (Four Million United States Dollars Only) which we
will like to invest under your custody.

I will give you full details of this as soon as I receive your positive
disposition towards this.
Thank you
Viktor Wiebe.

My response was

Hi Viktor,

Well, since I am positively positive about my positives I would really enjoy hearing more about your incredible investment opportunity. I feel that is was a sign from about because I recently inherited the sum of $250 million dollars and I have been anxiously searching for a partner to invest with. Since you will obviously be the minority investor in this arrangement I believe you should forward me your credentials and qualifications for me to proceed. I am sure you are aware that with $250 million being greater than $4 million you can understand my need to take control of the arrangements. As soon as I receive all of your contact information as well as a good faith deposit of 10% we can proceed. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Mr. M Hojewski

OK then I got this response..

They won't forget you! Michele, that is funny

There was something on another website where the "responders" disguised their ip headers, and kept promising to send the sum of several hundred golden dorks. I wouldn't play with these people unless you can really hide.

As to the birthday cards, I only open the ones that come from sources i know. They should not come as attachments but as links.

I have had a few of those 'con' emails, i was once trying to buy a french bulldog and got contacted by a nice guy/girl?? called 'BraBra'?? i was told they lived in Essex and they gave me an address and sent me pics of the pups, i googled the address it was some newly built place still on the market to be sold??.. They contacted me after i was meant to have turned up (obviously i never went) and said they would 'ship me the pups' i told them your only in Essex , they said they suddently had to go away to Cameroon(i started laughing as i read the email) and that they had taken the pups with them!! .With that my reply was , i have contacted the UK police and forwarded all your emails and they will track you through your IP address, so expect a call from your local police very soon.. Anyway the next day i had an email from the same email address, apologising for trying to con me, they were kust trying to get some money for schooling in Cameroon. I didnt reply but whenever i get spam or strange emails i always reply with this 'I HAVE FORWARDED THIS AND OTHER EMAILS TO UK POLICE.. THEY ARE AT THIS MOMENT TRACKING YOUR IP ADDRESS AND YOU WILL FIND YOUR SELF IN A LOT OF TROUBLE, PROBABLY IN JAIL FOR EXTORTION OR FRAUD'When i was new to the pc i did get an email asking for my bank details as they wanted to share all this money if i pretended to be some guys relative (they used his surname as Brophy, but thats my married name) I would get ALL this money if i would forward my details etc, i firstly told them, that if this man had died, and he had no living relatives, how could i say i was his only surviving realtive as its only my married name, meaning my husband would be his relative, not me....Also i told this person i could only get my bank details if i paid my bank £100 as i was severly overdrawn and they had blocked my account...I had a reply back saying that they was going to send me this £100 for my banks payment, as soon as i had sent my details, name etc i sent them all kinds of rubbish Gertrude Minnywas the name i told them, and i made up an address i mixed 2 road names near me together and said my door number was 2300xpo ... so i faked all my details and i never heard back from them.. Best thing to do in my opinion.... try and scam the scammer! they get wise to what your doing but it messes with their heads

I wouldn't do the scam the scammer thing. They know more about you than you know about them, just from having found a way to contact you. And they are tied to organized crime, and those guys play rough.

Best thing is to block and ignore them. If you respond, they know they've got a live one - and they will be back - maybe with something much more convincing that you WILL open or click on.

People have access to your email, if they join aol or yahoo etc they can easily find emails out as they look at user profiles, i think there is something on a site where you ask questions that is directly linked to yahoo, also there are a lot of social network sites that display emails, and also advertising sites, (as in the case of when i tried to buy the puppy) they dont show your email but they direct any messages to your email for you, rather than log in.Not all scam/spam is organised crime, although im sure a lot of it is.. those that ask for your personal details to share with you some persons will as they are now dead and have no next of kin, are obviously organised ones, the thing is, they take the 'P' by sending me such rubbish so i send them some back, i dont expect anyone to do what i do... it was my own choice to 'scam the scammer'. if someone isnt comfortable doing so, then delete and block
