What is your favorite potluck or party dish to bring with you? I've been to waaay too many potlucks, and would like to try something new.

One dish I like is Party Style Potatoes. Spray a large pan or baking dish (13" x 9") with cooking spray. Pour in a large bag of frozen hashbrown shreds (thawed). Pour a can of evaporated milk evenly over the pototoes. Dot with butter or margarine and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes, or until heated through, potatoes are tender, and cheese is bubbly. Easy and good! People always ask how to make it.

Dice up tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, green peppers, and any other fresh veggies you like (carrots, zuccini, etc.) and place in a bowl. Cover with Italian dressing or Red Wine Vinegar Italian and toss. Cover the top with Parmesan cheese, toss once more and chill for a couple hours before serving. Stir and serve. Yum!

Default Dip

I love to make Knorr's spinach dip. it so easy and all my friend ask for it. make it the night before an event and the flavors really "marry". but it is still good at the last minute.

Talking Death By Chocolate

Extra large bowl (I was given a punch bowl in order to bring bigger batches!)
2 boxes instant choc pudding - make to package directions
2 tubs cool whip - thawed
12 heath bars, crushed
1 brownie mix - bake according to package directions and cool
Bake brownies day before and soak in Kahlua overnight if desired. If not, this can all be arranged on same day.
Cut brownies and place in layer on bottom of bowl. Spoon 1/2 of chocolate pudding on top. Use one tub of cool whip on top of pudding. Sprinkle with 1/2 crushed heath bars. Follow layers again. Can be repeated many times by doubling recipe. End with cool whip on top. garnish with heath bar pieces. Store in fridge.
Every time I take this the bowl is literally licked clean!

I make something like this, except replace the chocolate pudding with chocolate mousse. Istead of Kahlua, I make holes in the brownies with a wooden spoon handle and pour some Hershey's Chocolate Syrup into the holes.

My favorites to take are Ramen Noodle Salad ... aka Asian Cole Slaw and Buffalo Chicken Dip and my NEW favorite ... Kelly's Broccoli & Cauliflower Salad .

But sometimes I also make ... a Dump Cake or Sausage Balls or a Cheese Ball and crackers ... and for something 'unique', I made a Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cheese Ball for a luncheon we had here at work for our graduating student assistants. I think everyone was afraid of it to start with ... but they warmed up to it pretty quickly!

I like just plain old salad. Either a fruit salad with lots of berries mixed with oranges or grapes or a garden salad with every vegetable I can think of. Both always disappear.
