Default Potty training

A couple weeks ago, I decided to try the potty training thing with Vinnie ((who is 28 months)) and for a full day, he did GREAT! He didn't have one accident! I know it was only one day, but he really got it! We went out and bought him the "Big Boy Underwear" that he wanted, and he was soooo proud of himself! That night, he asked about CeJay ((who is 18 months)) and where his big boy underwear was. I told him that CeJay wasn't ready yet, and that he still needed diapers. He nodded, and walked away. The next day, he said "no big boy underwear mommy". So I said fine, because I didn't want to push the issue. I don't want to force him into this. That would only backfire on me. The next morning I asked him again, and again he said no. He said "diaper for CeJay, diaper for Vinnie"... He will only try to pee on the potty if CeJay does and CeJay has no interest. I don't really know how to go around this? Do I really have to wait until CeJay is ready to use the potty?

I would just wait it out & act like it's not a big deal. If you can, talk about someone he knows and admires & how well they go potty (even if it's Daddy!). Perhaps that would get him interested in using a big-boy potty too.
