Default Potty Training Advice

I have a 22 mo old. She goes to the potty 2-3 times a day.
She ocassionally tells me she needs to potty. My question is: Recently she sits on the potty and does nothing. Then 1/2 later or so her diaper is wet. Am I not having her on the potty long enough or is she still too immature to go whole hog potty girl?

Sounds to me, that for her age she's doing a great job!!! I began to potty train at 18 mo with my daughter and she was finished w/ diapers just before she turned 3...I let her go at her own pace. I feel if you push too hard, that's when they begin to not want to go. I have seen a lot of children get pushed into it and they develep fears of the toilet. It may sound weird but it's true!

Whatever u do dont force her! She is doing great for her age...just sitting on the potty is a huge step. Maybe try letting her run around w/o anything on (ie diaper/pants) if you have the time (and patience!). My daughter just turnd 2 and is fully potty trained (at night as well) and thats what i did...kept her potty out and let her sit on it when she wanted...accidents happen! Just be patient she will get it
