Welcome to the board, Renee!

I do not have a teenaged daughter, but have several teenaged nieces.

They probably do the same type of things together like you and your Mom.

They do their nails or a pedicure together. Some how, sitting in a salon for a hour with your feet in water, gives plenty of time to visit and bond.

One of my sisters and her teenaged daughters walks every night after supper. They just walk around the neighborhood and get a little exercise.

Doing chores together can even be fun - doing the dishes after a meal, folding laundry, even changing the bed sheets goes quicker w/ 2 people working together.

So glad that you've asked.
I'm certain there are many more ideas.

My girls & I do a lot of walking. We try to go out every evening for an hour. Over the summer, it turned to running (mostly 'cause i was plump & needed to shed some pounds) and my girls picked that right up with me too. They both have joined cross country sports this year too! My middle schooler, Jessica, is running at the rate of the high schoolers

We also went to some gorges and hiked. What fun! We take long drives sometimes...although not as often as I'd like due to gas prices. My daughters bake-and I eat their cookies lol
