I've worked in the adoption field for 9 years, and it is amazing to me how often I hear of people who have struggled with infertility, adopted, and then gotten pregnant. This weekend I heard of a couple who adopted three children, and then 16 years after her last adoption, the wife got pregnant for the first time. Why do you think that this happens so often?
