prenatal vitamins *TMI*
My prenatal vitamins have a laxitive in them.....It causes cramps which makes me paranoid (I'm already paranoid enough) Sometimes it makes it harder to go too...which is just weird. I do have issues going potty sometimes cause last time I did my water came out and I broke it and then had a baby!! I don't think that's normal but...I'm concerned about such things happening again. I know I'm not far enough to have a water sak....but I don't wanna push my babe out lol ( i have issues)
I was wondering what prenatal you're taking and do you like it? What would you suggest?

Have you tried boosting vitamin intake by foods? Supplements leave your body within 24hours, vitamins have to be in your body for at least 2 days before your body is able to take advantage of their benefits. If they are having any physical effect, stop taking them, then you can have a nice poo

stoping them doesn't really help because I've been taking them for so long now that when I stop taking it....its like...my body doesnt know what to do lol I eat alot of fiber and such..I think I have a good diet. I eat lots of fruits and veggies and drink tons of water and juice (mostly water) and don't drink soda anymore and when I do eat meat its usually chicken cause right now red meat makes me wanna throw up. I also eat nuts and yogurt and a little cheese. Sometimes I'll have milk but not much cause I seem to have issues digesting it. SO I think I need to take something to keep that bit of me moving properly cause If I don't take something I don't go #2!.....and that's not comfortable. I also don't have a gall baldder so I donno if that has anything to do with anything...
I want to take vitamins regardless of what I eat because I want to do everything possible to have a happy healthy baby. I want to be able to say that even if something goes wrong this time I did everything possible to make it go right.

just to be clear....if I don't take something it's hard to get #2 out...and I have to push hard. I'm concerned about pushing that hard lol It won't come out if I just sit and wait....

I take the generic version of Natelle (A prescription pre-natal from my Dr.).
Try mixing Benefiber in with your juice or water. Unlike other fiber supplements, it mixes super well. Honestly, I've mixed it in water and you can't even tell! I had HORRIBLE issues at the beginning of this pregnancy, but have been doing much better lately.
Someone told me that the reason pre-natals can make you backed up is because of the extra iron in them.

.....in answer to prunes.......YUCK! lol I don't think I could get it down. I have a sensitive tounge and it doesn't like those...I will see what I can do (since i am seeing a new doctor) If I can't get another prescribed till september then i'll do the flinstones (cause I already have them) and get some benefiber. I have to add this to my list of things to bring up with the new doctor....I do wish I wasn't so paranoid lol I don't think it's gonna go away till I have a healthy baby.........I liked what I was taking cause it didn't cost me anything my insurance paid for it (which is weird for my ***********
