Default Prescription Transfer Questions

How does this work so that I get the $30 gift card? Is there a form to fill out? Do I need a coupon? I checked the website and it doesn't mention anything about the $30 gift card.

I've only ever received 1 and it printed on my receipt just like a CRT. I just handed it over and they programmed a gift card for $25 for me. Is there something new?

I don't have any idea. I've only seen a few posts where people mention getting a gift card for transferring prescriptions. I'd like to do it too, but I don't know how to go about it. I've never gotten a CRT for it.

You have to have the coupon. In TX, Fl and a couple other states, we got a coupon with our weekly ad. We got them 2 weeks in a row, but they are only good in some states so that may be why you can't find them.

Just call 1-800-shop-cvs and ask for the coupon for a giftcard for a new or transferred prescription. I got one for me and one for my husband. I did find out that you can only use one every 6 months, though. They were very nice.

I print mine from the web site and Wal-mart or Kroger will accept them with no questions asked.
They will even accept 1 per transferred rx so you is transfer 2 you will get 2 giftcards. I live in Columbus Ohio

I called 1-800-SHOP-CVS and they are going to send me a coupon to get the $25 gift card when I transfer my prescription. It should arrive in the mail in 7-10 business days. That was easy. Thanks, everyone.

They also take competitor coupons. Target has them out occasionally as well as Rite Aid around here. I'm sure other places do to. Just watch your ads.
Has anyone else been told the 6 month thing? I am on a monthly pill again and plan on transferring it between several places in town. I just did it there and am sure I will again within 6 months.

Thanks, but I don't think you can post that here as it was sent to individuals through email and didn't offer the "forward to friend" link.
