Default Proactiv

I just ordered a 60-day supply of Proactiv! I don't have the worst acne ever, but I still have enough to bother me. I thought it would go away after the teenage years, but here I am-26 and still suffering with it! The only time it went away was during my pregnancy. I will continue posting now and then to update the progress. Has anyone tried it before?

I used to use it years ago when I was in my twenties, and it worked great for me!

My friend had moderate acne and it cleared her skin right up. I was on BCP through my late teens/early twenties which cleared up my skin. So far it's still staying away, but if it comes back after all my pg hormones leave, Proactiv was something I was planning on looking into. Tell us how it goes!

I thought it was going to stay away, and it did for a few months, but like 3 weeks ago it came back for some reason. I'm just tired of it!

Thanks-I will definately keep you posted.

Same thing here....It came back after I was preggie...my Mini pill made it 10x worse! I had to go off of it Still suffering left over side effects from the mini....I will never go on it again.

Jean how much did the proactive cost? I was thinking of getting some and seeing how it worked before going to the doc and getting something

Actually Lessly its on sale half price for a limited time..not sure even if they're still doing it. A 30 day supply typically costs 39.95 and now its 19.95!!! (I can't remember the last time I bought something that wasn't on sale.)

Sounds like a hormone imbalance. There are herbs you can take that have been effective at balancing hormones for 2500 years. Chaste tree is one I know of. Check into it.

Thats funny this is posted. I just bought this soap made by aveeno and have been using it for a couple of weeks and all of a sudden my face is so broken out! I was thinking about trying the proactive. They actually sell it in our mall. I think I am going to go and buy some.

Well, the Proactiv never really worked. That's money down the drain. I think it works well for people, because you have to wash your face twice a day...and I'm sure that people who have broken out skin didn't do that religiously (at least that's in my own case-I don't wear makeup so I thought when I took a shower that was enough lol). Actually the best luck I've had is using that Stridex foaming wash once a day. And I can afford that! I guess I'll just never have perfect skin. Oh well.
