Default Problems with Mailer coupons

Has anyone else noticed this?
It has been my recent experience that when I redeem a coupon $x off $y purchase that I have received as a mailer coupon that it seems to prohibit the redemption of any additional CVS ECB's. Now let's say I make sure to give that mailer coupon last I have no problems. But if it's first or in the middle I seem to get some error stating that a coupon greater than the $x value cannot be used. All the managers have had to cash out the sale and I would have to pay the difference from the ECB. CVS may be reworking something in their system to only allow 1 CVS coupon per transaction??? Other thoughts on this??

I only noticed this on the beauty coupon. And, as a matter of fact, the same beauty coupon they put out last year (same type of deal) did the exact same thing. Something weird with that coupon.

That happened here too... my ecb wouldn't go thru when I used the beauty coupon. It created a problem, the store was closing in 15 minutes and the manager couldn't get a hold of anyone to help correct the problem. She forced some ecb thru, but I ended up paying more oop then I should have.
I still got a great deal!

When I used the beauty coupon that happened to me, but the manager scanned my card a second time and it let the ecbs scan just fine. I didn't have any that should print so I don't know if that would still cause a problem or not.

Same thing here - with a new set of mailer coupons. This one says "Just for You - $25 Special Savings inside" and there are (6) $3/$15 coupons - one for each week beginning last week and going through the end of May and one $4/$20 that is valid during June. Last week I tried to use the $3/$15 for that week and it worked fine, but would only take off $3 for any subsequent CVS coupon. Then today I tried to use this week's coupon and waited to give them this coupon at the very end of my pile of CVS coupons. It came off just fine, but then when I tried to use a $4 MFR!!! coupon, it also limited that to $3!!! So if you use these, do not try to use any coupons -- CVS or MFR -- over $3 after these are scanned!

Do they have any unusual wording/restrictions on them?
