Default Problems with the $3 off $15 Q found at the pharmacy counter

These q's are found at the pharmacy counter as reported by pilgrIm...
Yes....I found out the hard way that this is one of those q's you cannot give first. It will screw up any following to a limit of $3. And, if you void the transaction and ring up everything again and use it last...it won't take and says that it has been used!!! I had the order rung up several times and of course the manager couldn't figure it out and just entered it as a generic CVS at the end.
So, if anyone has been able to find these...make sure you let the cashier know you want this q scanned in last...it will work. I'm not sure how long you have to wait before you can use this q again...hopefully a day or two.

A lot of these have one time use bar codes. If you have more than one, check them out and see that they are different, not the same 'generic' ones that CVS usually has.

Default 3/15 solution is simple

VERY simple solution to this one-- after the 3/15 is rung, have them rescan your card, which will allow all ECBs and anything else to be normal.

Wow, that is amazing. Coupons such as these have been giving 'troubles' at the register for years and no one has found a fix before this!

You tried it this way and it worked? Thanks.

Yep...it works that way also. I miscalculated my totals and gave that 3/15 q and then wanted to use another ECB and of course it wouldn't work. So I asked the cashier to rescan my card and it worked. She was new and was shocked that it all worked.
