Default Prostate cancer

I have a history of prostate cancer in my family. My father, grandfather and great uncle all had it. I have read a lot about Saw Palmetto as a treatment/preventative for this illness. Do any men out there have any stories to tell about the effectiveness of Saw Palmetto?

From what I've read it does help. My father (now in his 60's) has been taking it for years and has never had a prostrate problem.

Having a family history of prostate cancer increases your risk (of course that doesn't mean you are bound to have it, no)...but you should consider talking with your physician to be screened considering that history (if you haven't already of course).
Just my two cents...
