I took provera for 5 days and I finished on Monday and I was wondering how long should it take for AF to show up and when should I worry if it doesn't show up? I can't stand waiting...I have no signs of it showing up yet. I just can't stand it!!! lol

also...when does my cd start when taking provera? when my af shows up or when I started taking it? and can I ovulate this month after taking it to start af?

AF should show up within a week or so after taking provera. the day AF shows up that should be considered CD1. and yes, you can ovulate after taking provera to kick start AF!!! i know the waiting is rough, but she should be here before you know it! good luck!!

I feel like I am gonna burst lol It seems so silly to be happy about af!!! I don't know anyone who's happy about such a thing! I feel like I just can't wait of course I know I'm gonna have to...I wish my dh understood my feelings so I at least have somewhere to go with these feelings of about to burst....I just can't wait to start trying again (well I have to so I will) It's just so exciting to think that I might actually ovulate...of course....I might not but we're only doing positive thoughts here. I am gonna use those LH stripes to see if it detects any LH surges once my period has ended. Thank you so much for your quick reply and for answering all the questions!! I don't know what I'd do without this site

It can take anywhere from 2days to 2 weeks after the LAST pill is taken. I usually got mine about 4days after the last pill but everyone is different. You will count the first full flow day as day 1. As for "O"ing during the "waiting" period that wont happen b/c of the progesterone in you system from the pill but once af starts and your levels go back to normal you could "O". So I would temp/use OPK or wahtever you use to track "O" starting after af. HTH

I know what you mean about being excited about getting af back. Because I breastfed for so long I didn't get it back till 11 months after I had Tiffy. And we had planned on getting pg right away, so when af showed at 11 months I was sooooooo happy. lol. you would have thought that I had gotten a bfp or something! So I know how you feel as far as being excited about af returning!!! GL I hope she comes soon!!!!!!

It's been 12 days since last provera pill and af still hasn't arrived!!! I am going NUTS!!!!! What if af doesn't come back? Is that even possible? If it doesn't come back by next week is something wrong with me? Should I be worried? I am panicking

I don't know anything really about Provera but, I wouldn't worry. Jennifer (Nevy's mommy) said that it could be up to 2 weeks, and so that would mean that you still have a couple days to wait. Also if you are so anxious (spelling??) about it maybe that is why it hasn't come yet. Stress is a terrible thing. I know that this is impossible, but try not to think about it.
This is just a joke--- try wearing white, it seems af like to show up if the person is wearing white or another light color.

you know the funny thing...I have been wearing white hoping my body would get the hint....maybe I should stop wearing white and go for black... maybe my body doesn't like stains just as much as I don't! I am just about dying here (a tiny bit dramatic I know)
