It sounds good to me. The important part is making sure he's gaining weight.

Well, it's a good thing to keep an eye on it like you are. From what I recall, the amount you mentioned seems about right.
Good luck!

My daughter drinks 6 ounces 3 times a day. She has been drinking that for four months now and I can't get her to drink more. Now I've started giving her more solid solid foods and the doctor said I should cut back on formula but I don't think she's drinking enough as it is! She's gained 1 pound in 4 months...

If your worried about her weight I'd offer more protien in her diet...Is she walking..crawling? How much has she been gaining before? Is she a premie? My Aiden went through a period that he gained only a 1lb a mnth and they where concerned...it sounds like you may need to get a second opionion whith your babe...if just to ease your mind.

She was 5 weeks early but had been doing really good She was always small It just seems so weird to have only gained 1lb. She'll be 1 year on the 22nd and she only weights 17 lbs. I don't mean to compare her but lol compared to all the other babies I know she looks like she's 2 months old....except she walks (holding things and has since mid-July) she was progressing really nicely then just seemed to stop. She is active when she's awake but she does sleep very good. She sleeps all night (from 8pm till 8am) and takes about 2 hours in naps during the day. Occasionally she'll take one of those really nice 4 hour naps but not too often anymore. She dances now too...(its so cute) but she doesn't really talk she babbles and has said dada and daddy for 2 months now but that's it. Like I said she just quit progressing. I donno if I should be worried....and not knowing makes me worried lol

Aiden was a mnth early....It could be that...I found that he's ahead on a lot of things but his weight...he was 19lbs 10oz or so at his first year shots....could be that because she is so mobile she doesn't seems to be gaining weight.

She goes to her doc on the 26th for her 1 year check-up. Do you think it would help to keep her on formula longer? or is it better to switch to whole milk? I donno if she's ready for that. When I give her cheese (her doc suggested for a snack) she gets diarrhea So I quit doing that...I donno what to do. Maybe I just shouldn't worry about it till the doctor says she's too small. (which I'm afraid she's gonna do at this next appointment) but it's not like I don't feed her. I give her as much as she will take. She just isn't a big eater.
